In the Maltese islands there are lots of different landforms that formed in the rock. These all form due to weathering and erosion of the 5 different rock layers found in the islands. The landforms change with the layer of rock because of the rock type and rock composition. Some of the landforms also determine and form the topography of the islands.

Globigerina Limestone
Karst Landscapes - this landscapes are common for all type of Limestone Rocks altough in Malta it is more pronounced on Coralline Limestones.
